GentleReturn is a wellness and meditation tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. It detects attention drift from motion and breath signals during meditation, nothing else, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, contact a clinician.
By downloading, installing, or using GentleReturn, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
GentleReturn is developed and operated by GMX3C LLC. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean GMX3C LLC.
GentleReturn is intended for use by adults 18 years or older. Use by minors, if any, should be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
GentleReturn requires an iPhone running a current version of iOS. No other hardware is required: the free tier runs the complete attention engine and cue ladder using your iPhone's own motion sensor and built-in microphone. AirPods (AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, or Beats headphones with head tracking) and an Apple Watch are optional and add deeper sensing as part of the planned Pro unlock.
Use GentleReturn seated or lying down in a safe, comfortable place, with your iPhone screen off and nearby. Do not use GentleReturn while driving, walking, cycling, or operating machinery. Stop if you experience dizziness, pain, or any symptom that concerns you, and contact a clinician.
GentleReturn is not a medical device and does not provide medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any session summaries, such as the optional Settle score or Drift map, are self-reflection aids built entirely from the app's own state machine, never a clinical or physiological measurement.
GentleReturn is free to download. The free tier includes iPhone breath and motion detection, all 15 ambient sounds, and 1 and 3 minute sessions, running the complete attention engine and cue ladder, identical to Pro. A Pro tier is planned as a one-time in-app purchase, currently planned at $4.99, with Family Sharing included. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Pro is planned to unlock AirPods head motion and posture, Apple Watch sensing (wrist motion, heart rate, and HRV), longer sessions (5, 10, 15, and 30 minutes), and session history with the optional Settle score and Drift map summaries. “Your audio” mode, for keeping your own music or podcast playing during a session, is free for everyone. The Pro purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchase in Settings to restore your Pro unlock at no extra charge. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.
The GentleReturn app, its branding, copy, visual design, and audio are owned by GMX3C LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use GentleReturn for your personal meditation practice. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, rebrand, or resell the app.
GentleReturn is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GMX3C LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use GentleReturn.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of GentleReturn after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
