HeadPause is a wellness and training tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent vertigo, BPPV, motion sickness, or any other condition. The balance routines are educational demonstrations of well-known canalith repositioning maneuvers and are not a substitute for clinical care. If dizziness is new, severe, or paired with hearing loss, weakness, numbness, double vision, or a bad headache, contact a clinician.
By downloading, installing, or using HeadPause, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
HeadPause is developed and operated by GMX3C LLC, a company registered in Texas, United States. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean GMX3C LLC.
HeadPause is intended for use by adults 18 years or older. Use by minors, if any, should be under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or clinician.
HeadPause requires an iPhone running a current version of iOS and a pair of head-tracking-capable Apple headphones (AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, or Beats models with head tracking). Without supported headphones, practice routines will not start.
The balance routines involve moving your head into specific positions and lying down. Before starting any routine, make sure you:
Stop immediately if you experience sharp pain, sudden hearing loss, fainting, new neurological symptoms, or a severe headache, and contact a clinician.
Motion mode is designed for passive travel environments such as riding in a car, train, or plane. Do not use Motion mode while driving, walking, cycling, or otherwise operating any vehicle or machine.
HeadPause offers a free tier with the Brandt-Daroff and Gaze Stabilization routines, 5-minute Still sessions, Motion horizon-hold, and 30 days of practice history. A Pro tier is available as a one-time in-app purchase at $4.99. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Pro unlocks the full Balance library (Epley, Semont, Half-Somersault, BBQ Roll), unlimited Still session length, Motion drift haptics and telemetry, full practice history, and iCloud sync across your devices. The purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.
